The Safer Recruitment process is key to finding staff who are committed to protecting, supporting and developing babies and young children. The EYFS highlights your responsibility to ensure you have safer recruitment policies and procedures in place.
Safer recruitment practices are at the core of the whole process as you plan, shortlist, assess, vet, induct and provide ongoing supervision during the probation period and beyond. Your safer recruitment policy and procedure is an essential tool to adhere to during this process.
It can be really expensive to advertise and there is little or no guidance to support you as an EYFS provider.
EYFS Jobs Sussex is a local Job Board for providers based in Sussex. A place for owners and managers to confidently share adverts for EYFS roles that are available. A one stop shop for those looking for jobs in the Early Years sector that are based in Sussex. Jobs are shared on social media and through a ‘free to sign up’ Mail Chimp Bulletin. EYFS Jobs Sussex has a Facebook page, a Twitter account @EyfsS and an Instagram page.
The Mail Chimp Bulletin is sent out every Wednesday. As well as jobs, the Bulletin shares information, updates and safer recruitment good practice hints and tips for those advertising and for those looking for jobs.
